Door switches

KRONENBERG door switches convince by longevity. The contacts are silver-plated and self-cleaning. High specific forces ensure a reliable contact making. All plastics in the contact area are of self-extinguishing quality.

Safety switches

Safety switches as position switches with separate actuator are used millions of times to control the protective enclosures at machines. The safety switches were originally developed as water-protected door contacts for the lift industry. KRONENBERG has set standards here. Important features of the safety switches are positive opening, water protection and protection against manipulation.

Limit switches

Limit switches as a special type of position switches are available to suit different functions. The emergency limit switch has of course the highest significance, because in every lift one or two emergency limit switches must be used. For the actuation of the limit switches operating and direction ramps are available as accessories in different versions.

Position switches

Pin-type contacts are special position switches and are used for different applications as safety switches with forced seperation, as e.g. at speed governors, slack rope monitors and safety gears.
Due to the special design extremely long pre- and over-travels are possible. The pin-type contacts are available with and without spring return.

Magnet switches

Magnet switches are used for the position monitoring of moving parts, when a positive-opening of the contacts is not necessary. The contact-making is very reliable, as the contacts are located in a very hermetically enclosed small glass-tube with protective gas (reed contact), which prevents oxydation and the formation of dust. The actuation is made by the approach of a permanent magnet. Magnet switches are available in monostable and bistable versions.
